Again the food was awesome, starting with a traditional European breakfast of cold cuts, cheeses, breads, jams yogurt and juice - WOW. After our morning rehearsal and lunch, the students had several hours of free time to explore Basel and relax. After dinner, we had a tour of the tattoo facilities and the stadium - what an awesome place to perform!
Tonight we had some sectional rehearsal as well as some marching time - they were so focused and ready to perform, they really put in a great effort. Tomorrow is exciting as we have our dress rehearsals and the full cast grand finale rehearsal!!! Enjoy some pics from Day 3!
I love the giant chess game!! It is a workout in itself. Love the pictures and the news! We love you Stetsons!!
ReplyDeletePS What a beautiful baby!!!
Thank for setting up this site. It is nice to be able to connect with our kids in some way. It doesn't seem like they are so far away from us.
ReplyDeleteKeep up the great work and good luck to the band!

We wish we were there now. Everything looks so amazing. Good luck Stetsons, we know you will shine! See you in Kerkrade.
ReplyDeleteJay, thanks for setting up the blog. Looks like the kids are keeping busy so we don't expect to hear from them anytime soon. What do they say a picture is worth a thousand words? From your pics we learned all we needed to know;
ReplyDelete1. Kelsey arrived ok.
2. Her 30lbs of brass arrived with her in good enough shape to play it
3. She adheres to the dress code about as well as she did here...
Keep up the good work and have fun!
Thanks for the photos and updates Jay. Have fun Stetsons!
