Once in Basel we got settled in our hotel, which is really nice BTW, and headed down towards the barracks for dinner at the mess hall. Looks like we are going to be eating well - it is all you can eat for every meal! After dinner, we walked to the riverfront, dipped a toe in the Rhein River, then headed back to the hotel for a well deserved sleep. Gotta get up and rehearse tomorrow!

Day 1 -2 Travel and Arrival in Basel!!!
We have arrived at the Hotel du Commerce in Basel!!! All in all our travel was pretty smooth aside from a little weather delay in Calgary. The plane was quite modern and of course the kids did not sleep much! The busses picked us up and we drove the four hours from Frankfurt to Basel, passing through France along the way!
